I Servizi Educativi del MAO Museo d'arte Orientale e il CTP3 da anni sono impegnati a sviluppare il dialogo tra cittadini nativi e migranti e a favorire l'incontro tra le culture del mondo.
Grazie all'importante sostegno della Regione Piemonte negli ultimi mesi è stato sviluppato il progetto Il cielo, una coperta per tutti che ha visto come protagonisti gli studenti, adulti e ragazzi, del CTP Distretto 3.
Il progetto interculturale verrà presentato domenica 12 giugno alle ore 15,30 nel corso di un incontro pubblico nel quale l'esperienza degli stessi protagonisti sarà raccontata attraverso la presentazione dei loro lavori raccolti in un libretto e la proiezione in anteprima di un filmato che è lo specchio di una felice pagina di intercultura.
I musei della Fondazione Torino Musei (Palazzo Madama Museo Civico d'Arte Antica, GAM Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea e Borgo Medievale), con capofila il MAO Museo d'Arte Orientale, sono stati l'ambiente e lo scenario degli incontri che hanno avuto come protagonista il cielo; attraverso suggestivi viaggi nell'arte, nella storia e nelle culture rappresentate e raffigurate nei musei, il tema del cielo è stato il punto di partenza non solo per acquisire nuove conoscenze, ma anche per riflettere sulla propria cultura di origine e per condividere racconti e ricordi. Le visite si sono concluse con un momento di incontro, di scambio di impressioni e con brevi attività finalizzate a far propria la visita ai musei, fissandola a un gesto, a un pensiero, a una parola o a un'immagine.

Museo di Storia Naturale e Archeologia di Montebelluna-Treviso, Pezzi di Storie

Si è recentemente concluso presso il Museo di Storia naturale e Archeologia di Montebelluna un percorso sostenuto dal Lions Club e dal CTP di Montebelluna che ha coinvolto una trentina di ragazzi stranieri dai 17 ai 20 anni che frequentano le scuole superiori al mattino e che al pomeriggio studiano al CTP per ottenere il diploma di licenza media, nonché un gruppo di donne straniere.
Il Progetto “Pezzi di Storie”, ispirato da un analogo progetto svoltosi all’interno di MAP for ID, ha coinvolto il Museo di Storia naturale e Archeologia, la Rete per l’Integrazione degli Alunni Stranieri di Montebelluna, la Cooperativa “Una casa per l’Uomo” e il CTP II circolo di Montebelluna. Attraverso una serie di quattro incontri i partecipanti hanno potuto conoscere in dettaglio alcuni “pezzi” della collezione archeologica del Museo. Hanno raccontato le proprie storie personali e le hanno intrecciate con quelle dell’oggetto scelto. Ognuno infatti ha “adottato” un pezzo del museo. Nell’incontro finale gli oggetti sono fisicamente usciti dalle vetrine e abbiamo realizzato un atelier fotografico e video, nell’ambito del quale ognuno ha potuto esprimersi con il reperto scelto. L’atelier realizzato nella giornata finale è documentato da un video prodotto dal Museo che restituisce sia le riprese video dei ragazzi che le foto delle donne.

The conference is addressed in the first place to museum educators and cultural mediators who do already or would like to use cultural heritage and museum artefacts as tools to promote a better understanding among individuals with different cultural backgrounds or belonging to different cultures. It is also addressed to teachers, educators or artists who work with migrants, use an intercultural and multidisciplinary approach in their work and try to support mutual understanding and social inclusion.
Participants will be required to investigate good practice case studies on museums and intercultural dialogue in the respective countries, in order to compare practices and share ideas and experiences with colleagues during the conference and the group work.
Consultation of the Grundtvig Project website www.mapforid.it will be essential to understand the nature and the achievement of the project and be informed about the relevant literature.

It is possible for participants from European countries other than Spain to apply to their National Agency to receive full funding to take part in the event. The grant would cover the accommodation, subsistence and travel costs (which you should calculate individually) for a maximum of 1500 Euro. There is no course fee.

If you are interested in participating, you should:

• Have a look at the Comenius - Grundtvig database for a more detailed description of the course.
• Write to the organiser (Margherita Sani, Istituto Beni Culturali) enclosing a short CV using the enclosed proforma and asking for an invitation letter: MaSani@Regione.Emilia-Romagna.it by 12 June 2009 at the latest.
• Contact your National Agency and download the application form from their website. To contact your National Agency, please look for the address on: http://ec.europa.eu/education/programmes/llp/national_en.html.
• Fill in the application form, enclose the invitation letter and send both to your Socrates National Agency at least eight weeks before the conference.
• Let the organisers know that you have applied and inform them about the expected waiting time before you receive a reply from your National Agency. Once again, please write an e-mail to Margherita Sani: MaSani@Regione.Emilia-Romagna.it.
