Conclusions of the working groups (PDF, English)
The conference is addressed in the first place to museum educators and cultural mediators who do already or would like to use cultural heritage and museum artefacts as tools to promote a better understanding among individuals with different cultural backgrounds or belonging to different cultures. It is also addressed to teachers, educators or artists who work with migrants, use an intercultural and multidisciplinary approach in their work and try to support mutual understanding and social inclusion.
Participants will be required to investigate good practice case studies on museums and intercultural dialogue in the respective countries, in order to compare practices and share ideas and experiences with colleagues during the conference and the group work.
Consultation of the Grundtvig Project website www.mapforid.it will be essential to understand the nature and the achievement of the project and be informed about the relevant literature.
The conference is advertised as a course on the Comenius-Grundtvig database: http://ec.europa.eu/education/trainingdatabase/search.cfm
The course code is: IT-2009-483-001
To access it directly: http://ec.europa.eu/education/trainingdatabase/index.cfm?fuseaction=DisplayCourse&cid=20290
